This Bungalow-style home features a gable roof trimmed with brackets and moulding detail. The design offers such details as an open porch, flared walls, bay windows, and side lights. A structural overhang embellished with a rounded pediment decorates the main entrance. The home was built in 1923 for George A. Fitton. Fitton served as a trustee for the Brandon School Division for forty-one years, making him the longest-serving trustee in the Brandon School Division’s history. He acted as chairman of the Board from 1921 to 1923, and again from 1932 to 1956. Fitton passed away in 1957, and George Fitton School was named in his memory.
