This 1 ½ storey workers cottage was built in 1909. Hipped and shed dormers, a decorative gable, and wide eaves decorate the home’s gable roof. The enclosed porch is covered by a pediment. The home’s windows are embellished with decorative surrounds. Nicholas E. Ouilette was the home’s first owner. Ouilette was the proprietor of Imperial Pool Rooms. In 1911, the home was sold to William H. Ward. Ward was a conductor with the CPR. He resided at the address until 1943.
