This 2 1/2 storey home was built in the Classic Revival style for Dr. Clement as a wedding present for his wife by prominent local contractor Frank C. Lissaman. Offering such details as dormers, a decorative gable, dentils, and a pent extension, the more eminent details lie indoors. Dr. Sharpe's family lived in the house for several decades and had oak cabinets built in for housing cellos. There used to be a set of servants' stairs where the main floor bathroom is now. At one point, this house was actually boarded up for ten years.
