The two-storey Italianate structure at 1320 Princess Avenue was originally built as the Ravenscourt Apartments in 1908. The building served this purpose until 1954. Two years later, in 1956, the building was donated to the Salvation Army and refurbished to become a seniors’ home.  The flat roof is trimmed with a pediment and moulded frieze. A pediment and inscription sit above the recessed entrance. The design also features flat, segmental windows with decorative voussoirs.
