This 1 ½ storey Queen Anne-style workers cottage was built in 1913. The design features a gable roof with a decorative gable adorned with bargeboard, dentils, and moulding detail. The exterior boasts an open porch, flared walls, a pediment, and pilasters. Transom lights add a decorative touch to the windows. The original owner was Robert J. Bullard. Bullard was employed as a blacksmith with the CPR. He was also the president of the Dominion Labor Party’s Brandon branch. Due to its proximity to Brandon’s industrial district and CPR tracks, the house has been occupied predominantly by CPR employees throughout its history.
