This large Pacific Avenue warehouse was originally home to agricultural implements retailer Cameron & Rathwell. It lay vacant from the late 1920s until 1935, when it was acquired by Oliver Ltd., another agricultural implements dealer. Oliver Ltd. was managed by Mr. Frank H. Lawson and the company operated at this location until the early 1940s. In 1943, Christie’s School Supply Ltd., which was previously located on Rosser Avenue, moved into the building. The business continues to operate here today.
