This large Queen Anne-style home originally belonged to Mr. George G. Knowlton. The building permit was issued in 1909 at a cost of $1000; however, the family lived on the property a few years prior to the construction of their new home. Knowlton was a farmer who lived here with his family until his death in 1913. The home remained in the Knowlton family until the 1960s. The design features a gable roof with gable-shaped and wall dormers. Columns support a sweeping open verandah. The exterior also offers such details as a canopy, and stairs leading up to the second storey.
