This large terrace was constructed in 1893. The design features a gable roof with gable-shaped dormers, brackets, and moulding. The most prominent characteristic is a beautiful, sweeping verandah adorned with columns and a pediment. Pilasters and windows with decorative voussoirs decorate the exterior. The windows are embellished with details such as transom lights, side lights, and stained glass.

Some noteworthy occupants that have resided here in the past include Reverend James C. Switzer of the Brandon Methodist Church; Andrew Douglas Rankin of A.D. Rankin and Co.; contractor Robert Sword; and architect David Marshall.
