This Bungalow-style home is one of three in a row built by Frank C. Lissaman in 1927. The gable roof is broken up by shed dormers and a decorative gable. The roof is trimmed with wide eaves, moulding, bargeboard, and dentils. The design also boasts exposed rafters, bevelled glass windows, and windows with side lights. The open verandah is supported by columns. The house originally belonged to Charles F. Peavoy, manager of the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company. Peavoy lived at the address for five years. From 1937 to 1951, the house was occupied by William H. Barker, manager of Barker’s Insurance Agency.
