The Brandon Club, designed in 1904 by local architect and builder W.R. Marshall, is Brandon's oldest chartered club. In its early years as an exclusive institution, the club boasted such notable members as Sir Clifford Sifton (Federal Minister of the Interior), Senator J.N. Kirchhoffer, and Sir R.P. Roblin (Premier of Manitoba). Recently, the building's exterior underwent extensive alterations, leaving only the decorative roof cornice to hint at the former elegance of the architecture.
