In 1908, the International Harvester Co. selected Brandon as its western headquarters. The company, an agricultural implements dealer, built its first offices at this address. In 1912, the company had new, larger offices built at 1733 Pacific Avenue and the original building was sold to the Brandon Tannery Ltd.  The tannery remained at the address for only a few years. The building sat vacant for a few years before it was converted into a creamery. In 1929, the building was acquired by Manitoba Co-operative Dairies Ltd. The company operated at 1328 Rosser Avenue for over thirty years, with its name changing to Manitoba Dairy & Poultry Co-op in later years.
