The Park View Apartments were built in 1912. The building was designed by architect Thomas Sinclair for owner and contractor A.E. Bullock. The apartments were built by local builder E.J. Higgins.  Overlooking Stanley Park and fitted with modern fixtures, the apartments were to be some of the finest in Brandon.  A three-storey verandah on the west side of the building offers a view of the park, giving the apartment its name. The exterior features a handsome combination of stone and Estevan red brick. The roof is extends into a prominent cornice, parapet, and pediment. Other decorative elements include columns, pilasters, and a skylight.  The windows are accented by transom lights, as well as decorative sills, surrounds, and voussoirs.
