This Queen Anne-style home was built in 1889. The 1 ½ storey building is sheltered by a gable roof with moulded trim. In typical Queen Anne fashion, the design features a long, sweeping verandah. The verandah is decorated with columns, a pediment, and beautiful carving detail. The earliest known owner of the home is Frederick Schenk, who worked as a pork packer. Frederick and his wife, Dora, resided here as early as 1906, and remained until 1919.
