This 1 ½ storey Queen Anne-style home was constructed in 1908. The design offers details such as a gable roof trimmed with bargeboard, brackets, and flared wide eaves; a pent extension; a decorative shingle belt; and an enclosed porch. The exterior is decorated by ornamental and stained glass windows with decorative surrounds.

The home belonged to George Dinsdale and his wife, Minnie, for over thirty-five years. The couple moved into the home in 1920, the same year that Dinsdale was sworn in as mayor. In 1932, Dinsdale was elected to the Manitoba Legislature. He was re-elected in 1936 and again in 1941. His death in 1943 resulted in a provincial by-election. Minnie Dinsdale continued to live at 461 11th Street for over ten years after her husband’s death.
