Built in 1925, the home at 412 22nd Street originally belonged to John C. Kerr. Kerr was employed as the office manager of McKay Fruit Co. Ltd. He passed away in 1944, and the home was purchased by Massey-Harris salesman George McCulloch, who would remain at the address for over ten years. The home was built by prominent contractor Edmund Fulcher, who designed many of the houses on 22nd Street. The unique design offers such details as a gable roof with gable-shaped dormers, an enclosed porch, and Gingerbread trim. There is a stained glass window on the top storey, depicting a ship sailing across the ocean. A sundial is also located on the south side of the property.
