This Italianate-style residence was built in 1902. The design features a low-pitched truncated roof with shed dormers and a skylight. The roof is trimmed with moulding and carved bargeboard detail. The home’s many segmental windows are embellished with stained glass and decorative surrounds.

In 1913, the home was converted into the McNeil Block, with the space being divided into four apartments. In 1937, the apartments were renamed and became the Montrose Block.
