Built in 1908, this Classic Revival-style home was originally owned by farmer Henry Mitchell. After his death in 1913, Henry’s wife, Ann, continued to reside at the address until 1917. The house saw numerous owners and even a few vacant years before it was sold to Frank C. Bullied in 1941. Bullied was the principal of the Brandon Technical School. He lived at 236 16th Street for over twenty years.

The two-storey brick house offers such details as a gable roof, gable-shaped dormers, and a pent extension. The entrance is sheltered by an overhanging pediment supported by brackets. Decorative voussoirs embellish the windows.
