Planning for the 16th annual Doors Open event is off and running.

The Doors Open concept is a simple one: buildings of historical and architectural significance, many of which are not normally open to the public, open their doors to visitors for one or two days. 

Friday, July 14th: 

Friday July 14th we will be having a double documentary showing at 6:00pm. The documentary showing will be held at the A.R. McDiarmid Civic Complex. Please use the east entrance through the new green space. 

6:00pm Wheat City 1900's: Making Modern Brandon

7:30pm Before Brandon: The Grand Rapids of the Assiniboine

Saturday, July 15th and Sunday, July 16th: 

From 1pm -5pm there will be self-guided heritage tours.

Come and join us in celebrating another year of Brandon Heritage with new and exciting locations. This is a chance to explore and learn about Brandon’s Heritage while touring our beautiful city. This FREE event opens up culturally and functionally significant aspects of heritage to the public for a full weekend.
